About Stripe

Stripe Overview

Stripe provides Payment Processing Software to help companies accept payments and move money globally with powerful APIs and software solutions. Stripe is the industry leader with millions of customers ranging from startup companies to Fortune 500 companies.  Stripe charges a fee for each transaction processed through its platform. The transaction fee consists of a percentage of the transaction amount (2.9%), along with a fixed fee per transaction ($0.30). Most companies use the pay-as-you-go model and entertain long-term agreements once transaction volumes are large enough for volume discounting. Stripe is considered business critical and has very high retention rates.
